MacRabbit’s Espresso looks like it could be a nice new web development application. The Live Preview feature that will be available in Espresso (even for dynamic web apps) is the only reason I use CSSEdit to write CSS.

Inspired but a piece of Jon Hicks’ impressions of Google Chrome, Shaun Inman wrote two JavaScript bookmarklets to navigate sites with “previous” and “next” buttons.
Pretty cool idea. However, I have only gotten it to work on Flickr.
Panic Coda 1.5
26 Aug 08
Panic released version 1.5 of one of my favorite web developement and design tools today, Coda.
Some major changes in this release included:
- It is now possible to do a multi-file find and replace across local files. You can choose to search all open files, all files in a particular folder, or all files in your current Site.
- Coda 1.5 provides built in support (checkout, commit, revert, update, and rollback) for Subversion operations.
- This release includes improved organization of Clips. Clips can also now be imported and exported. Using the new codaclips: URL handler allows you to create a web page link that adds a clip to Coda. Sam Brown has already integrated this feature into Coda Clips
- Users can also create custom reference books in Coda 1.5.
Read more about the updates on Steven Frank’s site or in the official release notes.
