WordPress Theme IAMWW W2 DnD Version 0.85

I just made another quick update to the IAMWW w2 DnD WordPress theme. Very minor changes…

WordPress Theme IAMWW W2 DnD Version 0.80

I have made some very minor updates to the IAMWW w2 DnD WordPress theme.

Some padding

Thanks to a question by Malcolm Coles:

When the browser is less wide than the page, the character at the start of each line is so close to the browser border that it becomes a little hard to read.

I have now added a 10px padding to the sides of the main container. To prevent the content from being slammed up against the sides of the browser when the view port is narrower than the page.

Some tagging

In version 0.80, I also added the ability to display a posts tags on the respective post’s page and along with post excerpts in the archives.

WordPress Theme: IAMWW w2 DnD v0.80

Due to tagging only being supported in WordPress 2.3+, there are now two versions of IAMWW w2 DnD available. One for WordPress versions older than 2.3 and one for versions equal and newer.

Please let me know in the forums if anyone finds an issue.

Wordpress Theme: IAMWW W2 DnD v0.75 “Validation” Released

Not sure if it was the spirit of the holidays, something I ate or procrastination of working on other projects but I spent several hours last night and this morning updating the IAMWW w2 DnD WordPress theme to version 0.75. This release version, codenamed Validation, now completely validates on XHTML and CSS.

Aside from code validation, several changes to the theme were made. I believe every theme file was updated, modified and improved in some way. Read More »

WP Theme: IAMWW W2 - Discontinued Support and Bug Fix Download

I have decided to no longer support the IAMWW w2 WordPress theme. However, anyone that has already downloaded and installed w2, please feel free to contact me with any issues.

Although I am discounting support of the original w2, I have made an updated comments.php file available for download on the theme’s page. The updated file fixes issues with broken layouts on sites that require registration for commenting. This file is meant to overwrite the existing comments.php file in the IAMWW w2 theme folder.

IAMWW W2 WordPress Theme Adoptions and Adaptations

With the releases of my WordPress themes IAMWW w2 and IAMWW w2 DnD, I wanted to showcase some of the sites that have adopted, adapted or modified my theme for use on their site.

Some of these WordPress users have really made the w2 theme their own with changes throughout their sites.

New Wordpress Theme Release: IAMWW W2 DnD

I am proud to announce the release of a new WordPress theme, IAMWW w2 DnD. DnD is very similar to the original IAMWW w2. However, the theme is much easier to install and no longer requires specific plugins.

This theme was built for users that do not know how or want to deal with editing PHP or installing and configuring additional plugins. This will also allow me to submit the theme to various showcases and galleries.

The full Prototype and Script.aculo.us JavaScript libraries are no longer used. The sliding drawer for displaying categories is still present. It now runs on just a few lines of JavaScript and should allow sites to load much faster.

Head over to the theme’s page to see a preview and download.

WordPress Theme: IAMWW W2 Updated to Version 0.92 - Bug Fixes

The IAWW w2 WordPress theme has been updated to version 0.92.  This package only includes and updated the functions.php file.  I needed to remove some line breaks and spaces that were causing issues with WordPress.

If you are currently using versions 0.90 or 0.91 on your blog, please download and overwrite the old functions.php file with the new one in the downloaded package.

Thanks Eric for the troubleshooting and finding the resolution to the issues!
