Habari 0.5 Released

The Habari Project team released Habari version 0.5 yesterday. The 0.5 release implements the previously mention Monolith admin interface.

In testing on my development server, Habari has make great strides since the previous versions. The latest version was easy to install and get accustomed with.

Update: added screenshot.

Indexhibit / Index + Exhibit

Indexhibit is a very minimal CMS (with a cool name) designed to create portfolios and other types of collections.

Indexhibit is a web application used to build and maintain an archetypal, invisible website format that combines text, image, movie and sound.

Check out the participants list for some of the ways people are using it or drop by Leah Shea to see a portfolio in action.

Cameron Hunt Moves to Chyrp

Cameron Hunt has now moved his publishing platform over to the previously mentioned Chyrp. I always thought it was cool how well he had integrated Tumblr, Textpattern and static pages to build cameron i/o. I can see how moving to one platform would be much easier - cameron i/o.

I only hope Chyrp will soon be able to import feeds in a manner similar to Tumblr (without the 5 feed limit).

Chyrp V1.1 Released

Chyrp was mentioned a while back as a stand-alone alternative to a hosted tumblelog. The platform was updated today to version 1.1 adding several extensions to make it a more viable solution.

I also really like the redesign of the Chyrp site!
