Is it just me or does the Firefox 3 Beta 4 splash site look somewhat sad?
Maybe it’s the background, the cheesy “Welcome to” header or the sci-fi nipples hanging off the bottom box that I don’t like…

I completely missed the “sci-fi nipples” until you pointed them out, but yeah this splash page is pretty underwhelming.
Yeah Rob, I think they pushed it a little too far with those…
Firefox has always struck me as a little behind in terms of user interface design. I didn’t see this coming though.
Andrew – I have always loved Firefox for the extendability of it rather than the design of the interface. However, I agree with your comment the more I use Safari on a daily basis.

The beta 5 splash site is slightly better… It has a robot >__<
I really don’t see what the intergalactic theme has to do with a web browser; it’s somewhat puzzling.
I noticed that it was a little better Harry. Still a bit odd to me though.
