Thanks Shawn. I believe the appeal of the dark background used here is actually because it is an almost black shade of green. So, it compliments the links well. However, I am starting to feel that there are far to many links in the bright green…

There are definitely other sites that I believe have awesome dark backgrounds. Two of my favorites off the top of my head are Sam Brown and Shawn Blanc. I really like that their backgrounds have a subtle texture to them.

Yeah, I echo Gordon’s sentiments. I love this design. I think it’s the best use of a dark background that I have seen yet. Awesome. I’ll be joining you in the forums shortly! I need all the enlightenment I can get!

Hey Gordon. Yeah moved over to TXP for a while. So far I like it a lot. There are some features that I had in WordPress that I sort of miss. However, the site runs fine without them, so I really didn’t need them…
