Redesign of Openswitch

Ben Gray has just redesigned openswitch. One of the best dark designs I have ever seen. Squeaky clean and beautiful.

IAMWW Winter 2008 Realignment

Those that have visited the site lately may have seen a large banner across the site recently letting you know that big changes were coming. Guess what. They’re finally here.

The new IAMWW

If you are reading this in your feed reader, come on over and check out the new site.

I have been working off and on trying to redesign the site. However, I ended up with far more designs that I hated than ones I liked. The good news is, some of those mock-ups will eventually be made available as public WordPress themes.

Get Up to 11 Mac Applications for $49.00

How often are you able to find 11 applications for $49.00? Most of the time, you’re not going to. However, the guys over at MacHeist have worked out deals to support indie Mac software developers and give 25% of the sales to charity. Cha-Ching and CSSEdit alone would normally set you back $40.00, but are worth much more!

Chris J. Davis - Simpleshop

Chris J Davis is talking about starting a project to create an open-source application for image editing for web-based media as an alternative to using Photoshop.

Simpleshop as I am calling it internally, will of course have all the features you need for creating, editing and saving imagery for the web. Along with those things you would expect I am planning some more “novel” features like SVN integration and saving to external sources from within the program.

Think Coda’s sites, but for saving and editing imagery. I also plan to integrate Flickr as well. Once I have a working prototype I will most likely open up the SVN server and look for some help.

I really hope this project idea becomes a reality. Sillyness, werd. - New Project
