WordPress Theme: Moo-Point 1.5 Released

I have updated the Moo-Point WordPress theme to version 1.5. The theme that was awarded 2nd place in the Sandbox Design Competition.

Updates for version 1.5 include:

  • The core files of Sandbox 1.0 RC1
  • Support for the tagging available since WordPress 2.3.
  • Very few styling changes (e.g., Styling the tags)

You can find the demo and download here.

Please let me know if you find any issues or have any comments on the new version.

Will - Since I had worked on tweaking moo-point more by Braille than by skill, I thought it proper to re-install it again on my hosted server (Opensource hosting). I used the new Version 1.5 and have sandbox .098 in the themes directory of wordpress 2.2.1. This time I have a fatal error (functions.php line 78). Should I go back to the earlier moo-point version?

Eberhard - If you are using WordPress 2.2.1, the latest version of Sandbox / Moo-Point will not work. WordPress versions before 2.3 do not know what to do with the tagging features built into the functions.php of Moo-Point 1.5.

I have made Moo-Point v1.1 available for download again. It should work fine with WordPress versions earlier than 2.3. So, you can go back to Moo-Point 1.1 or upgrade to WordPress 2.3+ and use Moo-Point 1.5.

Let me know if you have any other issues.

I love moo-point and am using it, but am struggling to get gravatars to work within it! Could you point me in the right direction?

Graeme - It looks like you have the working. Are you struggling with styling the gravatars?

I suddenly had a burst of inspiration, although it still took a while to get things actually working! Sorry to bother you!

No bother at all. I am glad you were able to get it working. I may try to include Gravatar support in the next version ;-)

Let me know if you have any other problems.
