Wordpress Theme: IAMWW W2 DnD v0.75 “Validation” Released

Not sure if it was the spirit of the holidays, something I ate or procrastination of working on other projects but I spent several hours last night and this morning updating the IAMWW w2 DnD WordPress theme to version 0.75. This release version, codenamed Validation, now completely validates on XHTML and CSS.

Knitty Couture - Website Launch and Grand Opening

I have been busy working on a custom WordPress theme for Knitty Couture for the last few weeks. The graphics and layout design was done by Todd Owyoung’s coworkers at Kiku Obata & Company. I did all of the coding of the design and WordPress integration.

The second phase of the site design officially launched November 3rd with the grand opening of their new shop. So, I am a little late with this post but better late than never, right.

WordPress Theme: Moo-Point 1.5 Released

I have updated the Moo-Point WordPress theme to version 1.5. The theme that was awarded 2nd place in the Sandbox Design Competition.
Updates for version 1.5 include:

  • The core files of Sandbox 1.0 RC1
  • Support for the tagging available since WordPress 2.3.
  • Very few styling changes (e.g., Styling the tags)

WordPress Theme IAMWW W2 DnD - Input Needed

In an effort to improve the IAMWW w2 DnD WordPress theme, I would like some input from you / the users of the w2 DnD theme.

First and foremost, I want to make sure it is completely compatible with WordPress 2.3. Second, I would like to make a few tweaks / additions to improve the theme.

In your opinion (this is where you guys come in), should the links above the post titles continue to link to the post’s categories or be changed to link to the post’s tags? Any input would be appreciated.

Tumblr, Inc. Introduces Tumblr 3.0

Tumblr, Inc. (formerly Davidville) introduced Tumblr 3.0 today. The 3.0 offering boasts “Over 400 new features, fixes, and improvements”.

Some highlights include:

  • Video updates (Integration with Vimeo)
  • Option to use Markdown
  • An archives page
