WordPress Theme: IAMWW W2 Updated to Version 0.92 - Bug Fixes

The IAWW w2 WordPress theme has been updated to version 0.92.  This package only includes and updated the functions.php file.  I needed to remove some line breaks and spaces that were causing issues with WordPress.

If you are currently using versions 0.90 or 0.91 on your blog, please download and overwrite the old functions.php file with the new one in the downloaded package.

Thanks Eric for the troubleshooting and finding the resolution to the issues!
You can checkout the latest release here.

IAMWW W2 WordPress Theme Listed on Weblog Tools Collection

Thanks to the link love today from Weblog Tools Collection today I have had the most hits I have experienced on this blog since I began late last year. I am glad that some people are enjoying the IAMWW w2 theme and hope to create more themes soon.  So stayed tuned…
I also wanted to thank Robert of Upstart Blogger for the inspiration from his designs, the core files of the theme and the friendly guidance he has provided me over the past few months.

A New Version of the IAMWW WordPress Theme??

Some people have had some issues with the latest release of IAMWW w2.  I believe these issues are now being hashed out.  However, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in me creating a drag ‘n’ drop version of the theme.  Anyone?

You would only have to activate the them from the WordPress admin and possibly select some widgets if you didn’t like the default sidebar.  No more php files to edit or plugins to fight with.

Let me know if you are interested and I will get to work.

Wordpress Theme IAMWW W2 Updated to Version 0.90

I finally found the time to update the IAWW w2 WordPress theme to version 0.90. The update includes styling for elements that had been left out and support for widgets.

Check out the preview and download on the theme’s page.

Let me know if you have any issues with this release.

New Office Workstation Setup

I updated my office setup with a new Westinghouse 22″ widescreen display. I know there are better monitors out there but I couldn’t pass up the deal on this one. $219.99 at Best Buy!

So, I spent half a day setting up the new monitor, cleaning up, moving things around and cleaning up the cable management.

You can check out all of the photos on flickr.

With the multiple monitors, Mac OS X, Ubuntu, Windows XP and being able to control it all via Synergy; I think I could have been considered for Lifehacker’s Coolest Workspace Contest.

Apple Releases Safari 3 Beta - for Mac and Windows!

I personally use Firefox on Mac, Windows and Linux. However, it will be interesting to see how Safari performs on Windows. Now you can, with Apple’s release of their web browser for Mac and Windows.

Experience the web, Apple style, with Safari: the fastest, easiest-to-use web browser in the world. With its simple, elegant interface, Safari gets out of your way and lets you enjoy the web — up to 2 times faster than Internet Explorer.

It will be interesting to see if web pages render differently in Safari on Windows as they do in Safari on Mac.
